Signed in with a Microsoft account? Open the Microsoft privacy dashboard, find Search history and select Clear all search history. That removes every search saved to your account, on all devices. Not signed in? Go to bing.com/profile/history and select Clear all to remove what was saved on that browser.
Where you clear your history depends on one thing: whether you were signed in to a Microsoft account when you searched. Searches made while signed in are saved to your account in the cloud. Searches made while signed out are tied to the browser you used. This guide covers both, plus the places Bing-related activity is stored that the main page doesn't touch.
Method 1: Clear everything from your Microsoft account
This is the method that matters for most people, because anything you searched while signed in to Outlook, Windows, Edge or Xbox with the same account ends up here.
- Go to account.microsoft.com/privacy and sign in with the Microsoft account you use for Bing.
- Find the Search history section (it sits with your browsing and search activity).
- Select Clear all search history.
- Confirm with Clear. The list empties on every device signed in to that account.
You can also start from Bing itself: open bing.com/profile/history, select Clear all, and Bing sends you to the same dashboard page when you're signed in.
Method 2: Delete single searches
If you only want a few entries gone:
- Open bing.com/profile/history.
- Use the search box or the type and date filters to find the entry.
- Hover over it (or tap it on a phone) and select the delete icon or X next to it.
The privacy dashboard works too: each row in the Search history list has its own trash icon.
Method 3: Clear searches made while signed out
When you weren't signed in, Bing keeps your recent searches for that browser only.
- Open bing.com/profile/history in the same browser you searched from.
- Select Clear all (under the option to change history settings) or remove entries one by one.
This has to be repeated on every browser and device you used. Clearing your browser's cookies for bing.com also wipes this signed-out list, because it's linked to a cookie.
Method 4: Delete only images, videos or one date range

Clearing your searches does not touch these, so check them if you want a clean slate:

Stop it filling up again
Deleting is a one-off. If you'd rather Bing stopped showing new searches in your history, turn Bing search history off, or search in an InPrivate/incognito window while signed out.
